Discover a playful, innovative approach to moving yoga off the mat! Learn to teach age-appropriate classes that include asanas, movement concepts, games, creative dramatics, art, and storytelling. Explore research on integrating brain development and bodywork for children. Identify key benefits of yoga and movement such as improved concentration, coordination, flexibility, balance, self-awareness, and stress release. Upon successful completion of this 5-day training, you will be certified as a Level I Creative Kids Yoga® instructor. CEUs available. This training is experiential, non-competitive, and fun! |
| • Age-appropriate asanas (yoga postures) and relaxation techniques • Creative movement concepts to support brain development and learning • Group problem solving , storytelling, art, songs, and games • An introduction to child development and anatomy • The physical, emotional, social, and mental benefits of yoga for children • Class planning and creating props |
